Hi, I'm Holly D. Gray, creator of Caleigh's Corner - Hacking Disabilities. I'm so glad you're here!
Caleigh is pronounced Cali, as in California.
Caleigh's Corner - Hacking Disabilities began just over eight years ago, in June of 2007, after the discovery of the birth defect Gastroschisis in our then unborn daughter, Caleigh Amelia. The blog was initially a way of notifying family and friends of Caleigh's intense journey. Throughout the years, Caleigh's Corner - Hacking Disabilities has become a source of information and support to families in similar situations. It has also become a source of education for those foreign to the idea of raising a child with medical, and physical challenges. With each year, the Caleigh's Corner - Hacking Special Needs community grew and today it's larger than ever boasting monthly page views well over 11,000.
Caleigh's Corner - Hacking Disabilities is a website that focuses on raising a special needs child with multiple disabilities, disability travel tips and tricks, adaptive aids and products, photography beyond disability, and adaptive homeschooling.
